HR Generalist - VIE Contract - London or Barcelona

We are currently looking for an HR Generalist (VIE contract) to join our team and manage our external consultants onboarding and offboarding processes across several countries including the UK Spain Italy Portugal Belgium Switzerland Luxembourg and Poland.
The HR generalist ensures the seamless operation of HR initiatives by efficiently managing HR operational tasks and providing valuable insights.
Your Responsibilities in this role:
Employment Law and HR Policy Compliance:
Serve as the primary contact for internal stakeholders regarding HR queries and policies.
Assist in designing and implementing HR policies across the organisation.
Assist with Onboarding and Offboarding processes for various countries.
Create Expense Policies HR Policies and Employee Handbooks.
Visa and Immigration Management:
Manage the visa process for our consultants across different countries from our UK and Spain hubs including requesting information collecting required documents and following up with visa providers during the application process.
Manage the application for the Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) data for each UK Visa situation and the willingness to take full ownership of the applications.
Collaborate with Legal Finance and HR operations departments to ensure compliance with employment contracts and visa regulations and anticipate costs.
Research and identify potential new visa providers and analyse and compare costs for multiple countries.
Develop workflows for visa processes across different hubs and teams.
Work on immigration matters.
Other Responsibilities:
Support the HRBP in various HR matters and projects ensuring alignment with organisational goals broader HR initiatives and strategic objectives.
Benefits management and implementation across countries such as healthcare pension and lunch vouchers.
Improve HR Processes and manage employee records in the HRIS system.
Assist in managing the whole employee lifecycle from hiring to termination.
The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience in HR ideally in an HR/Payroll services agency fluency in English and French and strong administrative and relationshipbuilding skills to support the external consultants with the onboarding and offboarding experience.
What you bring to the role and the team:
Required:
Fluency in English written and spoken is essential for the role. Proficiency in French Spanish or another EU language is a plus.
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration Law or a related field.
Good understanding of UK or other European employment laws.
Possesses excellent organisational communication and interpersonal skills critical thinking problemsolving abilities and an autonomous proactive work approach
Work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines while always maintaining high confidentiality.
Can work independently show initiative and take full responsibility for the completion of duties
