The Role
CK Group are recruiting for an Health & Safety Manager to join a Chemical company at their sites in Wigan on a permanent basis.
The Company:
Our client is a world leading manufacturer of polymers and specialist synthetic resins.
Location:
This role is located at our client's site in Standish, but will also cover their other site in Wigan.

Process Engineer Role:
Your main duties will be:
- To ensure the effectiveness of the EHS department.
- To continuously improve EHS standards within the company and to promote a positive approach to health & safety within the company.
- Accident and incident investigations, risk management, RCA, leading audits, organise EHS training and to assist the process safety team with process hazard assessments.
Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- A degree level education in environmental sciences, health & safety management or an engineering discipline.
- NEBOSH diploma and IOSH membership.
- Significant experience in the health & safety department of an active COMAH site.
