House Manager HousekeeperCook for Oxfordshire 2 bed cottage 80k gross pa

New position for an experienced friendly and flexible livein couple for a lovely family in beautiful residence in the countryside near Watlington Oxfordshire.

This is a primary residence of a family of 6 and 3 family dogs. However the children are in weekly boarding school and away at university and so are only home on weekends and/or school holidays. The couple should work well together when needed and fulfil the duties described between them. The workplace is light and spacious and with beautiful trees and grounds in the middle of nature.

Household Manager

Preferably a dog lover as the family has 3 friendly dogs occasional dog walking within the estate grounds. If Principals are away for a few days then you will need to look after the dogs.

Front of house skills such as serving occasional guests food and drinks.

There will be some driving to London and occasional airport runs and local driving and weekly school drop off/pick up. Care for the cars and ensure that they are clean and organised.

Supervise any visiting tradesman.

There will be some garden duties alongside Head Gardner and his garden team once or twice a week or as when needed.

Housekeeper

Also preferably a dog lover. Duties include hands on housekeeping duties from cleaning to organising house including excellent laundry skills and wardrobe management.

Cooking for the family occasionally they enjoy healthy fresh balanced cuisine. Front of house skills such as laying tables caring for flowers and great organisation skills.

Flexibility is essential when the principals are in residence occasional travel with the family to holiday houses maybe required/ (to be discussed). Weekend work with days taken off during the week.

The main job will be in Oxfordshire but during some occasions when the family travel to their holiday homes you might have to travel with them and prepare the house.

Accommodation provided in 2 bedroom self contained cottage. Regret not suitable for children or pets. Non smokers with excellent references required. Days off each week Mondays and Tuesdays.

Salary negotiable up to 80k gross for the ideal couple.
