Our client is a SemiIndependent Supported Living provider based in Tamworth who has been running for 12 months. We are recruiting a committed and experienced Registered Manager for our Brand New 4bedroom house which will be a home for up to 3 residents aged between 1618. We support complex young people providing tailored and comprehensive care that meets their unique needs. Our goal is to expand our services and hiring a competent manager is a crucial step towards achieving this vision.

Salary: up to £55000 with Bonus based on occupancy

Holiday: 28 days including bank holidays

Schedule: MondayFriday Flexible working options

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management:

  • Lead and manage the supported accommodation team to ensure highquality care and support for residents.
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and other relevant legislation.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that meet Ofsted standards.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Maintain Ofsted registration for the supported accommodation.
  • Prepare for and lead Ofsted inspections ensuring that all documentation and practices are up to date and compliant.
  • Address any areas of noncompliance and implement corrective actions promptly.

Service Delivery:

  • Oversee the delivery of care and support services ensuring they are personcentered and tailored to individual needs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of services making improvements where necessary.
  • Ensure that all residents have appropriate care plans and risk assessments in place.

Staff Management:

  • Recruit train and supervise staff ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Conduct regular staff appraisals supervisions and team meetings.
  • Promote a positive and supportive working environment.

Safeguarding:

  • Act as the designated safeguarding lead for the supported accommodation.
  • Ensure robust safeguarding policies and procedures are in place and adhered to.
  • Respond to safeguarding concerns promptly and appropriately ensuring the safety and wellbeing of residents.

Resident Welfare:

  • Foster a safe supportive and nurturing environment for all residents.
  • Encourage residents to engage in educational recreational and social activities.
  • Provide guidance and support to residents helping them to achieve their personal goals and aspirations.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents families social workers and other stakeholders.
  • Liaise with external agencies and professionals to ensure coordinated support for residents.
  • Represent the organization at meetings and events as required.

Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Prepare reports and updates for senior management and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in managing supported accommodation or similar settings.
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and standards.
  • Experience in staff management and leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and problemsolving abilities.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
