Area: PO SO BH SN SP DT BH (Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset)
The role of Technical Sales Manager
- The successful Technical Sales Manager will manage and develop around 300 active accounts with an area turnover of 1.2M
- 70% of your time selling fluid system components, values, temperature / pressure control gauges and other components into process end-users within oil refineries, aerospace, defence MOD, food manufacturing and water treatment
- 30% of your time selling into OEM's and MRO's
- The successful Technical Sales Manager will converse with technicians, process operators, through to middle management and C-suite decision makers
- Our client are looking for a strategic sales professional that is also able to provide bespoke turn-key solutions
- This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a mechanical engineering bias with strong pre-existing customer relationships in place

The Candidate
- Experience selling mechanical engineering products such as valves, pumps, flow control, pressure gauges, temperature control, industrial weighing, measurement or components that are used on assembly / process lines.
- Experience selling into process end-users is advantageous i.e. food manufacturing, MOD, water treatment, aerospace etc
- Our client will consider sales candidates with a MECHANICAL ENGINEERING background for example a sales person with a Mechanical Engineering HNC
The Package
- Up to 60,000 basic
- OTE 10- 20k year 1 (1.5% of sales uncapped)
- Choice of Electric or Hybrid car
- 25 days holiday plus stats
