We are seeking a proactive and experienced HSE (Health Safety and Environmental) Advisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative organisation and support our operations as we prepare to move to a stateoftheart facility in Windlesham Surrey.

We are looking for an engaging personality that can convey our HS&E principles to the wider business and gain buyin with a range of audiences collaborating with a variety of stakeholders.

You will play a role in ensuring the transition of HSE programmes and compliance in the lead up to and throughout the move. You will be working alongside the wider HSE and FM teams supporting the gradual decommissioning of Slough site from a HSE perspective as well as the implementation of the occupancy plan for Windlesham site including establishing all HSE systems.

As well as supporting the decommissioning of the Slough site and the transition to Windlesham you will be responsible for delivering the daytoday aspects of the HSE & Wellbeing systems for in line with our HS&E policies and overall Wellbeing strategy including supporting audits and continuous improvement activities.

You should be comfortable in providing HS&E opinion guidance and support to our stakeholders (internal & external) as well as have experience in a previous HSE role



Requirements

Job Accountabilities

Development and update of local HS&E procedures.

Delivery of local workshops to compliment company procedures and policies.
Coordinating/attending meetings representing HS&E systems and compliance across the UK & I remit.
Support and undertake HS&E audits and assessments
Ensure regulatory licenses are maintained and kept relevant
Liaison to safety and environmental representatives
Supporting the risk management system i.e. facilitating risk assessors and/or undertaking risk assessments and reviewing control measures in place
Supporting the environmental management system i.e. the impacts and aspects register & targets.
Supporting the Vigilance systems such as lifesafety systems etc


Education & Qualification

NEBOSH Certificate a minimum; with accreditation to IOSH at least at affiliate level.

Preferably NEBOSH Diploma and/or Environmental qualification.

Ideally degree or higher.

Experience of working in an organisation that relocated ideal but not critical.

Job Specific Skills and Knowledge

Selfstarter competent in providing management systems and a risk management approach to HS&E. Capable of providing effective decisions on the shop floor for approving/ authorising works where appropriate and capable of raising issues upwards to appropriate management for identification.

Individual who is a fantastic communicator engaging and enthusiastic in selling HS&E to our stakeholders i.e. the technical skills can be applied as part of the PDP.

Someone who has an interest in making a real difference and invested in creating a culture where people are happy healthy safe and able to thrive.

Education

Experience, Skills, Knowledge: Entrepreneurial mindset. Financial and business acumen (e.g., the total cost of ownership, cost modelling). High proficiency in English. Other languages, e.g. German, Spanish, Portuguese, French are desirable but not mandatory. Strong goal orientation and priority management. Strong technical competencies in Procurement End-to-End processes and solutions like SAP MM/SRM, Ariba, Coupa, GEP SMART, etc.
