Senior Wills & Probate Solicitor

Location: Skegness Lincolnshire (with the potential to work from home 2 days per week)
Reporting to: Department Director and HR
Hours: Fulltime Monday to Friday 9am 5pm
Holidays: 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
Salary:dependent upon experience


The Role

We are seeking an experienced fee earner to join our clients thriving Wills and Probate department. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in handling a variety of private client cases from start to finish with an opportunity for significant career progression.

This role involves managing a mixed caseload of Wills and Probate matters while also overseeing work allocation within the department and assisting with the training and supervision of junior team members. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting and advising on Wills Probate and Powers of Attorney
  • Handling Court of Protection cases
  • Trusts and Estate Planning
  • Providing advice on Wealth Management and Inheritance Tax


Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years experience managing Wills and Probate cases independently
  • IT literate with experience using case management systems
  • Strong interpersonal and client care skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to participate in business development initiatives
