An excellent opportunity has arisen for a newlyqualified auditor to join a Top 15 firm of chartered accountants in Reading Berkshire as an Assistant Manager. Our client is a marketleading firm in Berkshire with a fantastic reputation and ability to offer some of the best client exposure across corporates notforprofits listed businesses and international businesses. As an Audit Assistant Manager your typical daily duties will include;
  • Leading audits with the support of a fantastic team around you
  • Control each assignment ensuring that they meet agreed budget and timeline
  • Managing the audit team whilst on site to ensure that all work is carried out to a high standard and all queries are resolved with the client satisfactorily where possible
  • Guide and supervise more junior members of staff
  • Accounts preparation in line with the firms procedures
  • Other adhoc consultancy assignment


Requirements

  • ACA/ ACCA qualified or nearly qualified.
  • Extensive audit experience working within a Practice environment.
  • Confident and comfortable providing exceptional client service and delivery.
  • Team player who wants to join a family of likeminded individuals.
  • A dynamic approach adapts quickly to change and can find smart ways to deliver the best results.

Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with strong audit and accounts experience. Previous experience working in an accountancy practice. Experience conducting UK company audits. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with accounting software such as SAGE, Xero, QuickBooks, and Kashflow. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Confidence in building and managing professional client relationships. Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Team player with the ability to build strong working relationships.
