As an Accounts & Outsourcing Assistant Manager you will play a crucial role in managing the delivery of highquality outsourcing and accounting services to a portfolio of clients. You will oversee a team ensuring efficient and effective service delivery and support senior management in achieving departmental goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships ensuring exceptional client service.
  • Lead mentor and manage a team of accounting professionals providing guidance and support.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements management accounts and other financial reports for clients.
  • Manage the delivery of outsourced accounting functions including bookkeeping payroll VAT returns and management accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve internal processes for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated with the latest accounting standards regulations and industry best practices.


Requirements

  • ACA ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum of 35 years of experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP FRS 102 and experience with accounting software (e.g. Xero QuickBooks Sage).
  • Prior experience of managing or mentoring more junior members of staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a proactive approach to addressing issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver highquality work under tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding client service.
