We are looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager for our Children's Home located in Preston. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supervising care services particularly in residential childcare and possess exceptional leadership skills to manage a team effectively.

Job overview
- Develop and implement care plans in line with Ofsted regulatory standards.
- Have a strong knowledge of Safeguarding Children and Young People.
- Supervise and lead a team of care staff to ensure highquality service delivery.
- Manage the daytoday operations of the home including staffing budgeting and overseeing training needs.
- Skills to audit and monitor records as well as writing detailed reports when required
- Oversee compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices in children's residential care.
- Maintain effective communication with young people families and professionals.
- Ensure the provision of personcentred care that meets young people's individual needs.
Essential experience
- Proven experience in deputising or managing a children's home for a minimum of 2 years.
- Strong background in residential childcare and knowledge of best practices and legislation.
- Excellent leadership abilities to motivate and support staff.
- Familiarity with developing and implementing children's relevant plans in accordance with the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards 2015.
- Previous experience working with children and young people in a children's home.
Qualifications
- Level 5 Diploma in leadership and management of a residential childcare setting or equivalent
- At least 2 years within a management role supporting children in a residential home
