TPF Recruitment has partnered with a top 30 chartered accountancy firm and they have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant in their central finance team based in Portsmouth. The role offers flexible hybrid working arrangements between the office and home.

Key responsibilities for the Management Accountant position include:

  • Monthly Management Accounts: Overseeing and reviewing the production of monthly management accounts for accountancy practice subsidiaries.
  • Complex Subsidiaries: Preparing management accounts for more complex subsidiaries within the organization.
  • Payment Authorization: Authorizing payments and monitoring cash flow at a subsidiary level.
  • Team Support: Providing support to and assisting in the development of Finance Administrators within the team.
  • Reporting to Head of Finance: The role involves reporting directly to the Head of Finance indicating a significant level of responsibility and accountability.


Requirements

About you

  • The successful candidate will be ACCA / ACA qualified with 13 years postqualification experience preferably in an accountancy practice. Qualified by experience candidates will be considered.
  • You will have strong organisation skills be able to prioritise and manage your workload and be proficient in Xero and Excel.
  • The successful Management Accountant will be reliable and capable with a passion for detail who takes pride in producing high quality work.
  • You must be an efficient and personable communicator who can build and manage relationships.
  • You should be confident dealing with varied financial queries from a range of stakeholders across the business.

  • 35000 depending on experience

For this fantastic Semi Senior opportunity in Wokingham, you may be an AAT studying, and/or perhaps studying ACCA or looking to build further on your experience following qualifying AAT, with a background in accountancy practice, with at least 2 - 4 years or more experience within practice, preparing accounts, tax and other responsibilities for a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
