Our clients Asset Management Team one of the firms fastestgrowing departments has a strong reputation within the legal sector. Recognised in Legal 500 & Chambers directories our client represents Registered Providers and Local Authorities working on major national and regional frameworks. Due to continued growth we are seeking a talented Associate/Senior Associate to help defend housing disrepair claims.
The Role:
As an Associate/Senior Associate in our Asset Management Team you will manage your own caseload of litigated housing conditions claims with a focus on defending social landlords. You will also supervise Junior Solicitors and Paralegals and play a key role in preparing cases for trial drafting defences and witness statements.
Requirements
Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications and skills:
- Proven track record of managing housing disrepair claims to trial.
- Experience working within a Social Housing team ideally representing Registered Providers or Local Authorities.
- Strong supervisory skills and ability to manage junior team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills adaptable to various professional contexts.
- Enthusiasm for the social housing sector and dedication to delivering highquality service.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and multitask effectively.
- Advocacy experience is advantageous but not essential.
