Technical Engineer Solar PV and BESS
Location:London
Overview:
This role is centered on providing technical expertise for the development of largescale solar PV and battery energy storage systems across Europe. You will manage and oversee the electrical aspects of projects from conception to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Lead assessments and technical design of solar PV and BESS projects.
- Oversee commissioning of medium and high voltage systems.
- Support project management and development teams with technical guidance.
- Review technical proposals and equipment from suppliers and consultants.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 7 years experience in electrical engineering within the energy sector.
- Expertise in AutoCAD PVsyst and MS Office particularly Excel.
- Comprehensive knowledge of international standards in solar PV and BESS.
Willingness to travel to project sites. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to sustainability and renewable energy principles.
