Senior Backend Developer

Responsibilities

You will wear many hats and are expected to work with REST development in C# with MongoDB, infrastructure management in AWS, and server orchestration for multiplayer games;

You will create no-fuss server-side code, keeping the infrastructure easily maintainable and extendable;

You will architecture infrastructure for low-cost and efficient server management, having experience with best practices of scaling, backups and security;

You will work in a flexible environment, where what really matters is the quality of your work and your deliverables;

You will have a voice and be able to contribute your ideas and question the direction of the project, code or anything you don t agree with;

Skills and Qualifications

5+ years of experience with backend development and technologies;

Strong C# and logical skills, being able to find the right solution to the right problem, instead of the generic solution for the generic theoretical problem;

Strong experience not only with REST development but also gameplay code in authoritative servers;

Strong MongoDB skills, creation of efficient queries and data structures and database maintenance;

Strong knowledge of AWS, being able to manage the infrastructure for both REST servers and real-time gameplay servers;

Experience with backend for multiplayer games, orchestration of servers according to load, security and management;

Experience with dev-ops and automation tasks such as build systems like Jenkins;

Experience with creating tools for user management and process optimisation is a huge plus
