Job Opportunity: Project Manager for HighValue Construction and FitOut Projects in London
About Us
We are excited to announce the potential launch of two new projects in London and we are looking for experienced Project Managers to lead these initiatives. Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing Construction and Fitout projects valued at 30m or more. Experience with hotel projects is highly desirable.
Job Summary
As a Project Manager you will oversee the successful completion of projects ensuring they are delivered on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong positive relationships with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Project Oversight: Take full responsibility for all aspects of the project.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all Health and Safety policies and procedures onsite.
- Progress Monitoring: Track project progress against the schedule and provide regular updates to management.
- Cost Control: Maintain awareness of cost control and commercial considerations throughout the project.
- Design Coordination: Collaborate with the design team on constructionrelated matters.
- Material Procurement: Work with the procurement team to secure necessary materials.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or concerns promptly and efficiently.
- Team Leadership: Coach direct and manage project staff subcontractors and suppliers.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest quality standards are upheld throughout the project.
- Communication: Keep the commercial and operational teams informed of progress and any changes.
- Policy Adherence: Perform duties in line with company policies and procedures.
- Additional Duties: Undertake any other tasks as reasonably required.
Person Specification
Essential Requirements:
- Significant recent experience in a fastpaced highdemand environment.
- Previous experience in a Construction/Fitout company.
- Extensive knowledge of construction practices with the ability to analyse designs and suggest costsaving measures.
- Strong understanding of Health and Safety legislation relevant to the construction industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong management skills and commercial awareness.
- Proven ability to lead manage and motivate teams to achieve targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Continuous improvement mindset ensuring compliance and commercial requirements are met.
- Experience producing timely reports for senior management.
- Holder of a CSR card and relevant certifications.
