As a Group Financial Accountant you will play a critical role in our Finance team actively involved in financial reporting consolidation auditing tax preparation and M&A accounting You will manage multiple tasks efficiently and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our group financial information
- Annual Accounts Preparation Drafting Statutory Accounts for the Group and Subsidiaries including relevant notes using inhouse Accounts software Ensure compliance with GAAP standards with support from the Gravita team
- Month End Consolidation Posting monthly consolidation journals ensuring accurate balances Interco eliminations transfer pricing and goodwill statements Collaborate with the Management Accounts team to reflect changes in GAAP promptly
- Audit Management Interact with auditors address queries and prepare accurate audit schedules Manage remediation of Management Letter points before Audit Draft technical memos (eg going concern impairment) and review audit planning and final audit committee findings documents
- Tax Compliance Prepare Corporation Tax submissions and provisions in Statutory Accounts with support from the Gravita team Review VAT submissions manage group transfer pricing and coordinate with advisors as needed
- M&A Accounting Ensure accurate accounting for acquisitions and timely finalization of Completion Accounts
- Adhoc Analysis Prepare adhoc analyses such as ONS surveys Accounting Industry surveys and quarterly Bank Reporting
- Compliance Management Keep group companies details up to date manage KYC process for banks coordinate changes to bank mandates and support completion of applications/forms for new bank products and tools
- ACCA or ACA Qualified (preferably ACA)
- Advanced Excel Skills
- Taking a datadriven approach
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills
- A real aptitude for working with numbers
- Excellent ability to make informed decisions and
- Confident communication and presentation skills

- Our standard working week is a hour week on a hybrid basis (with up to % of your time across the month home based and the other % office based)
- Core working hours are am pm Monday to Friday
