Here at Trayport, we are currently looking for a Finance Manger or a Senior Management Accountant looking to take the step up to ensure the accuracy, completeness and timely completion of the accounting for Trayport entities, and enable positive change and continuous improvement.
What will I do?
Legal entity control and annual production of financial statements for the legal entities and their subsidiaries, including month-end and quarter-end analyses in the UK, Singapore, Austria and Germany
Lead and mentor a small team, including continuous feedback, recognising employee accomplishments and driving engagments through career development conversations
Work closely with Finance analysis team to develop cohesion in Finance and ensure the analytical needs of business decision making are met
Ensure that the quarterly and annual financial statements and other financial information fairly presents the financial condition and results of the legal entities
Evaluate and ensure appropriate up-to-date internal controls are in place over consolidations and financial accounting and reporting
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and proper disclosure in the financial statements
Establish a strong two-way working relationship with global peers in our parent company TMX and help position finance as a business partnering function within Trayport

Designated Chartered Accountant
Demonstrable knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and UK statutory reporting
Stakeholder management
Highly detail oriented
Excellent organisation skills
Relationship builder and collaborator
Excellent ability to influence with a collaborative nature and strong communication/ interpersonal skills, both written and oral
Experience
Prior management experience
Proven ability to multi-task normal workloads with finance related projects to achieve results and advance work plans
Experience working under IFRS, including consolidation, foreign currency translation, revenue recognition and ICFR compliance.
