The Role

TPF Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant / Semi Senior to join market leading Top 50 firm of chartered accountants in Basingstoke.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will support a varied portfolio of owner managed business clients primarily made up of ltd companies across statutory accounts management accounts bookkeeping VAT and basic tax.

Our client has seen significant growth in their fee income in recent times and due to further expansion theyre looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant / Semi Senior into their successful team where you will be offered a fantastic chance to progress in your career.

Suitable candidates will either be AAT/ACA/ACCA studying with accountancy practice experience.

Responsibilities

Producing statutory accounts for a very diverse portfolio of clients
General bookkeeping and supporting with management accounts
Draft corporate tax computations
Assisting with client queries
VAT returns
Liaising with HMRC

Requirements

You will be either AAT ACA or ACCA nearly studying or qualified by experience with experience gained in an accountancy practice background.
You will have experience of cloud software such as Xero QuickBooks Sage etc.

Benefits

A highly competitive salary dependent on experience and background negotiable. Circa 32 40k.

For this fantastic Semi Senior opportunity in Wokingham, you may be an AAT studying, and/or perhaps studying ACCA or looking to build further on your experience following qualifying AAT, with a background in accountancy practice, with at least 2 - 4 years or more experience within practice, preparing accounts, tax and other responsibilities for a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. You will be looking for a challenging, long term career move, at Accounts Semi Senior level, within a genuinely growing and expanding firm of chartered accountants, offering progression and career development.
