We are looking for a nanny to become part of our family unit taking our children to school (5 mins walk around the corner) and sports activities cooking healthy meals looking after their laundry toy rotations arts and crafts doing reading and homework but most importantly to have fun with them games songs and play to strengthen their German language skills. They are bilingual from birth their father only speaks German to them but they only reply in English at present. They will both go to German Saturday school so the nanny role is more about interacting in the day to day in German to normalise it as opposed to a teaching role. Driver essential to take them to after school clubs we will add the nanny to our car insurance. In the school holidays to go on trips with the children to farms castles soft plays etc. we have a few memberships in Surrey so they go regularly.

Our property has a very spacious garden with lots of play equipment such as trampoline sandpit water slide / bouncy castle gymnastics bars/mats etc. The house has been renovated within the last 6 months and so the kitchen is large and top of the range multiple ovens slow cooker/pressure cooker flexihob etc. We also have aircon. The local area is very green and safe a few minutes walk into the village centre with the school park library doctors shops etc. Live out preferred but we have the space if livein is required for the right candidate.

Requirements

Completely fluent German speaking nanny

Had considerable experience of sole charge experience of 2 young children

Up to date Enhanced DBS (we can help you apply)

Recent Paediatric First Aid certificate

Right to work in UK

Good references for recent and relevant nanny work and jobs that have each lasted a good length of time.

Able to run after young children

Be available long term

Good English
