TPF Recruitment is excited to partner with a highly regarded accountancy practice in the Croydon area that is looking to expand its team with a talented and experienced Tax Manager / Director. This is a fantastic opportunity for a tax professional looking to join a practice that are undergoing a modernisation and restructure.

Role Overview:
As the Tax Manager / Director you will play a pivotal role within the firm managing a portfolio of both personal and corporate tax clients while providing strategic tax advice. You will work closely with partners and other departments to deliver exceptional service and support the firm s continued growth. This is an ideal role for someone with proven tax experience in an accountancy practice looking for career progression in a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee a varied portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients.
  • Prepare and review complex tax computations and returns.
  • Provide tax planning and advisory services for clients.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships acting as the key point of contact.
  • Work closely with partners to develop and implement tax strategies for clients.
  • Stay uptodate with the latest tax regulations and ensure compliance.
  • Support and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

  • Qualified CTA/ACA/ACCA with practicing certificate.
  • Significant experience in tax compliance and advisory ideally within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK tax regulations.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize workload in a busy practice environment.
  • A proactive teamfocused approach.
