Creative Technology provides specialist audio-visual equipment and services to live events within the corporate, sport, broadcast, and entertainment industries. CT s Integrated Networks department underpins that provision with a wide range of equipment and expertise including intercom, high bandwidth and standard networks, streaming and RF systems.

The Technical Manager oversees the day to day running of the department and will need to gain an in-depth knowledge of all the systems and solutions provided. You will be expected to line manage the technical and preparation staff and provide technical development and support to departmental staff as required. You will ensure that the team are allocated efficiently to both on-site and prep tasks. As part of a larger operation, making sure the department follows internal process is key whilst highlighting operational and equipment inefficiencies. An important part of the role is staying on top of technical innovations and driving strategies for improvement.


Requirements

We are looking for an individual with excellent understanding of technical equipment with a drive to learn new or unfamiliar systems.Problem solving skills; and the ability to think strategically and implement robust, stable solutions. The post holder will be a strong and confident communicator with positive interpersonal skills and team player.

The successful candidate should have relevant industry experience or a strong interest in entering the event industry.A minimum of 5 GCSE passes at grade C or above (including Maths and English) and A-levels, or equivalent qualification.
