We are seeking an individual with a deep commitment to caring who has a genuine passion for working with children and vulnerable individuals. This person will be dedicated to delivering highquality care and ensuring the development and effective management of a strong and compassionate team.

We are currently in search of an experienced Registered Manager to play a pivotal role in our expansion into Children's care. With significant investments in progress and properties undergoing preparation for Ofsted this presents a remarkable opportunity for the chosen candidate to make a meaningful impact and contribute significantly to our cause.

The Core Responsibilities will be:

  • Fulfil the entirety of the Registered Home's Statement of Purpose.
  • Implement an outstanding approach to addressing the needs of the children ensuring the home complies with regulations and attains commendable inspection reports.
  • Take the lead in staff management including shift allocation recruitment training and selection.
  • Cultivate positive relationships and effective communication with stakeholders social workers and the Local Authority for each child’s placement.
  • Manage placement referrals and logistics taking charge of identifying assessing and admitting new children to the home ensuring thorough risk assessments.
  • Continuously assess the risk and needs of each child ensuring alignment with individual requirements and the overall dynamics of the children in the home.
  • Collaborate with psychological partners to identify and address the therapeutic needs of young people ensuring an informed approach.
  • Report to and collaborate positively with the Regional Manager Responsible Individual and Support Management.
  • Ensure the highest level of safeguarding in both staff and children recruitment and management.
  • Attend childcare reviews and planning meetings providing information to achieve the best outcomes for young people.
  • Provide outofhours and oncall services as required by the service.
  • Meet the service's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with a specific focus on retention referrals/occupancy and achieving ratings while prioritizing the needs of the children and young people as the ultimate focus.

Essential Qualifications and experience:

  • Level 5 Leadership and Management Social Care
  • Level 3 Children and Young People Workforce
  • Previous experience of being a Registered Manager in a Residential setting (Ofsted regulated)

Pay benefits and holidays:

  • Salary will be £50000£70000 dependent on experience.
  • MondayFriday 95 on call and some shift support if needed.
