Registered Home Manager Clinical. Burscough Manor Care Home

  • £65000 £75000 per annum DOE
  • 40 hours a week working Monday to Friday

As a Clinical Registered Manager at Burscough Manor Care Home your role will involve:

  • Taking the lead in ensuring that outstanding levels of clinical care are provided to residents at all times
  • Offer supervision support and training to Nurse Senior Carer and Care Assistant colleagues
  • Ensuring at all times a safe caring stimulating and homely environment for residents and their visitors
  • Providing emergency nursing shift cover as needed

Role requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a CQC Registered Home Manager for older people.
  • Nurse qualified (with current active NMC registration)
  • Leadership experience within a nursing home is essential
  • Ability to work to financial KPIs
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of CQC requirements and all other relevant care home legislation

The successful candidate will assume full accountability for the operational performance of the Home and be expected to develop and maintain excellent working partnerships with the local authority outside agencies and within the local community with a view to consistently achieving excellent occupancy levels as a result.

Applicants must be experienced Home Managers with a relevant management qualification and significant proven experience of successfully running nursing homes and be a registered nurse (RMN/RGN/RNLD).

Furthermore applicants should ideally have previous experience of managing within dementia care settings whilst at the same time being commercially aware proactive individuals with excellent administration skills. A proven ability to recruit lead and effectively manage competent and motivated staff teams is also an essential requirement of this role.
