The Role

Title: IT Support Technician

Location: Wiltshire, BA15 - Hybrid

The Role

As an IT Support Engineer you will play a key role providing exceptional customer service and technical support to businesses across. You'll work closely with a growing team collaborating to solve challenges and exceed client expectations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities of the IT Support Engineer:

  • Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 environments, including SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Support Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems, including installation, configuration, updates, and troubleshooting.
  • Oversee the deployment, configuration, and management of Microsoft Windows Server environments and Active Directory to ensure secure and efficient operations.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to antivirus software, networking, printers, and connectivity, ensuring minimal downtime and high service levels.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Apple devices.
  • Configure firewalls, routers, and other network security devices to maintain secure and efficient network operations.

Essential Experience & Qualifications for the IT Support Engineer role:

  • Proven experience working within a desktop support role
  • Experience in the followingareaseither within a1st or2nd line role:
    • Microsoft Windows and desktop operating systems
    • Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory
    • Microsoft 365 administration, including SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
    • Antivirus, networking, printers, and connectivity troubleshooting
    • Support for Apple devices and operating systems
    • Firewall and router configuration
  • Full driving license and access to own transport
