The Role

  • Reporting to the Director/Office Head.
  • Managing the New Business Team.
  • Arranging and meeting new potential clients/referrers to the business. With a focus on profitable new build work but also residential conveyancing.
  • Maintaining current business relationships being the go to for that business.
  • Discuss and understand target/KPI s with the Director/Office Head to identify areas for attention and where growth is needed.
  • Networking.
  • Becoming a subject matter expert on the company s services and areas of expertise.
  • Monitoring conversion levels with introducers to address where needed.
  • Liaise with our Marketing Team to discuss market strategies and future projects.
  • Carrying out other duties and responsibilities as required.
  • Helping Fee Earners with sourcing new business and heling achieve targets.

About the Person:

To be a successful candidate for this role you must also have the following attributes skills and experience:

  • Understand the importance of a new business operation within a legal environment.
  • Demonstrate initiative.
  • Maintain discretion.
  • Be able to evidence a successful track record of achieving new business success.
  • Have a good telephone manner and be comfortable speaking with clients both on the telephone and in person.
  • Have the ability to work under pressure.
  • Be target driven.
  • Be a team player with excellent communication skills and enthusiasm.
  • Be highly organised methodical and adaptable.
  • Ideally a background in sales.
  • Oversee and ensure the SLAs are met for each introducer.
  • Be comfortable analysing reports and data and using our case management system.
  • Liaise with Fee Earners/Office Heads as to relationships/capacity levels.
  • Oversee referral fee payments (check and arrange payments) if required.
