Our client is a company that specialises in complete drainage and site investigation services to a wide range of insurance providers for domestic properties across the South West of England. The company currently has an exciting new work opportunity for a Site Investigation Engineer to work out of their head office in Weston Super Mare, covering a geographical region across the South West.


The role:

The Site Investigation / Drainage Engineer who will be responsible for excavating trial pits and hand auger boreholes, taking soils samples, root samples and undertaking CCTV surveys of domestic drainage systems. All the work that our client undertakes are on behalf of insurance companies working on subsidence claims on domestic households.

There will also be an element of necessary paperwork with the job. This position will include travel and the candidate must be flexible with working hours and locations as this role will include some call outs and possible overnight stays within the region which there will be accommodation and meal allowance given.



Requirements

Be able to demonstrate technical knowledge and competency with regards to drainage.

Be confident and have experience in trial pits, auger boreholes and soil sampling

Hold a full driving license.

Be able to approach and resolve problems logically

Good IT and reporting skills

Demonstrate commitment and enthusiasm for the task in hand

Must be flexible with working hours/travel

Have the ability to deal with customer effectively.

CCTV Surveys experience

Drain repair and reinstatement experience (desirable)



Benefits

The company are offering a competitive salary of 30,000 per annum plus company van, fuel card, tablet, weekend overtime, bonus, pension and holiday allowance.
