Job Title: Motor Vehicle Technician

Salary: Basic Salary between 27,000- 29,000 (depending on experience and qualifications) + bonus OTE 32,000- 34,000

Location: Swansea (Brand New Site for Prestigious Brand)

Full Time and Permanent Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.00pm Saturday morning on a rota basis paid as overtime

They are now actively looking to recruit for a Motor Vehicle Technician for a brand-new dealership for a prestigious brand based in Swansea.


As a qualified Vehicle Technician working within the Workshop you will diagnose, repair and service the range of brand products. You will also undertake vehicle road testing and will be responsible for ensuring vehicle parts are handled and stored appropriately.

Working with a talented team and some of the best equipment in the business, you ll repair, service and care for all kinds of vehicles identifying faults, making improvements, keeping accurate records and meet demanding quality and safety standards. Working to MOT and manufacturer standards, you ll focus on delivering customer satisfaction and public safety as you minimise costs for the customer.

A team player, strong communicator, and a motivator, you will be able to professionally coach and mentor apprentices as required.

Requirements

  • Ideally candidates will be Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance, but they can still consider candidates with Level 2 qualification who have strong experience and willing to get their Level 3
  • Previous vehicle technician experience in a busy dealership / garage
  • Full and Valid driving licence
  • Ability to work as part of a team and a genuine commitment to delivering first class customer service
