Vehicle Technician Trainer

Our client is an independent training provider focusing on high quality training within apprenticeships short courses manufacturer led programmes and bespoke delivery. They work with a vast array of both local & national clients within the automotive sector.

They are now actively recruiting for a Vehicle Technician trainer for their site in Atcham Shrewsbury.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Delivery of the skills knowledge and behavioural components of the automotive Apprenticeship Standards to ensure that apprentices are successful at their gateway and End Point Assessments

Develop and update training materials and courses

Maintenance and development of training aids workshop facilities and resources

Complete timely assessments of apprentice work (practical and theoretical)

Essential Criteria:

Appropriate level of occupational competence

Level 3 Qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance

Either possess or be willing to work towards an approved teaching qualification

Full Driving License holder

First Aid at Work Qualification (or willingness to undertake)

Satisfactory enhanced DBS check
