The Role
Emily Mills at the CK Group is recruiting for a Chemist to join a chemical company in the aerospace industry, at their site based in Shildon. This is a 9 month fixed term contractShildon.

Our client manufactures paints and coatings for the aerospace industry.
Salary:
Up to 15.30 per hour (PAYE).

Chemist Role:
Your main duties will be:
- Participate in development of new products.
- Provide advice and recommendations to other departments and customers to assist in solving potential problems and queries.
- Carry out other work as require according to Task request system.
- Input formulations into site MRP system.
- Meet with suppliers to discuss new materials or problems with existing materials.
- Support quality department in resolution of customer complaints.
Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Degree qualified or equivalent.
- Scientific knowledge, particularly chemistry based.
- Ability to formulate coatings/sealants preferred
