TPF Recruitment is recruiting for a Bookkeeper to join an excellent manufacturing bushiness based in Rochester, As a bookkeeper, you will work in a small finance team, responsible for the the general bookkeeping for the business including accounts payable, and receivable, general Invoiciung, and matching You will also be involved in general administration, queries both internally and externally, and dealing with non financial stakeholders within the You will have the support of a small team around you, and an external accountancy practice for more technical Our client is open to both full time applicants and candidates looking to work 4 days a ;
  • Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
  • Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, supplier ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
  • Manage and ensure all control accounts reconciled as required in Xero accounting software
  • Reconcile Xero accounting software to Zoho CRM system
  • Update weekly cashflow model with supplier payments
  • Create and post month end accruals and prepayment journals
  • Bring the books to the trial balance stage
  • Process accounts receivable/payable
  • Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software
  • Support preparation of monthly financial statements showing business income and expenditure
  • Paying vendor invoices
  • Manage business bank account
  • Manage PO process and support resolving queries and PO differences
  • Support credit controller in collection of debt and cover during

Requirements

  • Produce work with a high level of accuracy

  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of purchase ledger processes and payments
  • Knowledge of Xero and Zoho is desirable, but not essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience within the manufacturing industry would be advantageous, but isnt essential
  • Ideally AAT qualified, studying ACA/ACCA/ CIMA or qualified by experience
