Setting Out Engineer

StraightLine Civils are currently looking for Setting Out Engineers to start on sites in NorthWest England mainly around Liverpool and Manchester.

Responsibilities: (include but not limited to)

• Setting out levelling and surveying a construction site
  
• Working with site plans drawings and building information models
  
• Mapping structural boundaries on the ground using pegs and markers
  
• Liaising with designers and engineers to ensure plans and drawings are accurate
  
• Overseeing quality control
  
• Monitoring health and safety
  
• Resolving technical problems
  

Requirements:

• Bachelors or equivalent level of education
  
• Ability to use relevant equipment
  
• Valid drivering license
