The Role
One of our clients, an elite global proprietary trading firm, is looking for AlgorithmicTraders with experience in European STIRs Futures to join their team. In this role you will develop quantitative, algorithmic, rules-based trading strategies to address the opportunities in capital markets, deal with the day-to-day operational running of those strategies, and work on future research and optimization of the strategies. You will be given the opportunity and operational infrastructure to build your strategy into a successful revenue stream, a generous compensation structure, and the means to deliver successful results.

Requirements

  • A bachelors degree or higher in an analytical or quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, Statistics, Computational Finance, or similar)
  • Experience in systematic capital markets trading
  • Experience trading STIRs Futures products, particularly Euribor and SONIA
  • Experience with common financial programming/scripting/modelling languages (C++, python, R, Matlab, etc)
  • An entrepreneurial, innovative and driven approach, and a competitive nature
  • A healthy risk appetite
  • Strong English communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Experience with data analytics and modelling, with strong attention to detail
  • A deep understanding of STIRs Futures market structures and microstructures
  • A collaborative approach to strategy research, development and optimisation
