The role
On the back of our exceptional growth we are now looking at building our own inhouse engineering team.
Our first step to making this happen is to hire our first Software Developer. In the first instance you will belooking after our current bespoke system ( C# & .NET ). Your primary focus will be to maintain and developthese layers of our applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team and current external supportworking on different layers of the infrastructure.
As we continue to grow you will also be involved in otherprojects using React and Javascript technologies.The role will be 80% coding new features for the bespoke CRM / CMS platform & 20% supporting end userswith their requests for the CRM / CMS platform.
We are seeing continued growth for this part of the business and therefore we will be looking to build theteam further either in the UK or Europe, so a team lead, mentor type individual would work really well withinthis role.
Skills
As a .NET developer you should be capable of handling many aspects of the application, including but notlimited to performance, scalability, security, and testing. We require a full knowledge of the .NET frameworkand are comfortable to build a highly distributed web application, a sophisticated desktop application, or evena modern mobile application.
Were looking for an individual established and proven in MVC 5/6 .NET who can develop and support ourbespoke CRM/CMS platform.
- Strong knowledge of .NET web framework ideally 5+ years
- Proficient in C# and/or VB.NET, HTML, with a good knowledge of their ecosystems
- Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
- MVC/Entity Framework
- JavaScript, ideally JQuery experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with popular web application frameworks
- Familiarity with Windows Presentation Framework
- Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
- Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
- Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Basic understanding of Common Language Runtime (CLR), its limitations, weaknesses, andworkarounds
- Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial
- Bootstrap experience (CSS & SCSS)
- Ideally an educational background in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness ofapplications
- Identifybottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
- Help maintain code quality, organisation, and automatisation
