Tasks
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as Sales Manager for the Rail/Public transport Sector. The ideal candidate will be based in the UK and have a strong background in sales, particularly within the travel industry. The person we are looking for should have a genuine passion for the travel sector and a keen interest in how artificial intelligence (AI) can revolutionize and benefit the travel industry.
Responsibilities:
- Sales Experience: Create opportunities and drive revenue growth and market expansion within the rail- sector. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in the travel industry, particularly within the rail sector. Keep up to date with advancements in AI and its applications in travel
- Passion for Travel: Display a genuine enthusiasm for the travel industry and an understanding of customer needs and preferences in the rail travel sector.
- AI Advocacy: Advocate and promote the benefits of AI technology in enhancing customer experiences and optimizing operations within the travel industry, specifically in the rail sector.
- Account Management: Handle key client accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and nurturing long-term relationships with clients.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience and successful product launches.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Up to 5 years of relevant experience in sales preferably in a B2B SaaS environment
- Demonstrated sales experience in the travel industry, preferably in the rail travel sector.
- Passion for the travel industry and a keen interest in AI technology.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle key client accounts and provide excellent account management.
- Leadership qualities and experience in managing a sales team.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and industry advancements.
