The Company:
My client is a company that specialises in complete Plumbing and Drainage services to corporate clients managing domestic and commercial failures. The company provides a quick and competitively priced response to their clients needs. Due to recent expansion, they currently have an opportunity for an experienced Plumbing and Drainage Engineer located in and around North London (Main office is based in Finchley)
The Role:
You will predominantly be site based, driving to site and undertaking all plumbing and drainage jobs whilst ensuring, where possible, that work is completed on the first visit. You will be able to confidently explain to customers what work you need to carry out ensuring you leave them with peace of mind and confidence in the company s abilities.
The main purpose of the role is to cover all pre planned or emergency/reactive water-related issues for domestic & commercial properties,
Diagnosing problems with customers internal issues - leaks, air-locks, no water, low pressures, etc. and ensuring resolution.
Carrying out general repairs and replacements on all water fittings, toilet repairs; tap replacements
Everything from leaks to central heating maintenance and repairs; radiators, water tanks and water main repairs.
Drainage blockages, leaking waste pipes, SVP replacements, CCTV camera inspections and surveys, drainage excavations and repairs
Relining and point to point fibreglass repairs
Pumping station maintenance and septic tanks/treatment plants
The standard working hours are Monday to Friday - 08.00 to 17.00
Out of Hours shift: Rota basis
Overtime paid at 18.75 per hour after the standard 40 hours worked
OTE, Commissions + Multiple Benefits Structure AOA
The Requirements
Candidates will have an excellent background in plumbing
Relevant qualifications in Plumbing & heating and Drainage (HPWJ, Confined Spaces )
An CSCS card, desirable but not necessary
Successful applicants will be subject to a criminal record and DVLA check.
No more than 6 points on your driving licence due to company insurance policy
Excellent time keeping
Excellent Customer facing skills
The Rewards
The company are willing to pay a competitive starting salary of 30,000 - 33,000 negotiable upon experience, plus a vehicle is supplied (take home) and all travel expenses paid.
Job completion bonus offered
Uncapped Overtime available after 40 hours as standard hours, Over Time rates are at ( 18.75p/h)
