We are seeking highly qualified and experienced Freelance in-person Interpreters to join our team in the London area. As a freelance interpreter, you will be responsible for providing high-quality interpretation services to our clients across a range of settings including medical, legal, and social services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide interpretation services to clients in a professional and accurate manner
• Adapt interpretation style and vocabulary to suit the needs of clients from diverse backgrounds
• Understand and adhere to the code of ethics and standards of practice for interpreters
• Manage interpretation assignments effectively, ensuring punctuality and meeting deadlines
• Work collaboratively with other interpreters and professionals to ensure effective communication

Requirements:

• Fluency in English andCreole (Hashian,French)
• A recognised qualification in interpreting or equivalent experience
• A strong understanding of cultural and linguistic diversity
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in fast-paced environments
• Access to reliable transportation
