This is a remote position.

Our client has acquired two new companies and wants to replace the IT/OT infrastructure at all the sites. They are short on resource to install and configure the equipment.

The consultants will be working in the customer project teams. This team normally works on internal projects and does include 2nd and 3rd line support tasks, next to the project work.

Daily work for the resources will be to work on tickets raised in the customers systems and will be routed to the consultant from the local customer team

For ex making sure applications run on the client devices, changes to Operating systems. Migration of client devices from existing infrastructure to a new one. The customer will provide plans for the activities to be performed.

The candidate should be able to communicate with clients on-site (desktop support) to resolve technical issues and close tickets. Serve as an IT lead for the client, be aware of their needs, assess trends, and make both proactive and reactive recommendations and changes. Collaborate with internal client stakeholders and IT stakeholders. Utilize strong knowledge of Windows desktop troubleshooting to assist clients with connectivity, printing, customization, user profile and applications. Perform Virus/Malware removal. Responsible for user account management in Active Directory, Exchange, spam filter, and other platforms. This includes creation, removal, changes, password resets, and bulk operations.

For some sites this mean migration activities out of hours or weekends, dependent on the site.

The duration for the engagement is 12 months. This will leave time for ramp up and knowledge transfer to the consultants. The customer project manager and tech teamwork from remote location but in close collaboration with the onsite consultant.

Possible Travel 1,5 week per month to other sites within the region. Germany, United Kingdom, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Turkey, South Africa.
