BOILER ENGINEER

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Boiler Engineer. This role is on a fulltime permanent basis servicing our clients various contracts across London and the South East of England.

Boiler Engineer Offer:

Hours per week are 08:00 to 17:00 negotiable 40 hour week;

Salary ranging up to 52k Depending on Experience 25.00ph;

Callout rota uplift applies;

25 days holiday (not including bank holidays);

Pension scheme after 3 full months service (3% employer contribution 5% employee);

Overtime available but not guaranteed;

Tablet and phone;

Company uniform;

Company works vehicle; and

employee referral scheme of 1000.

Boiler Engineer Duties:

• Undertake planned preventative maintenance servicing and repair works across various contracts;
  
• Provide boiler / combustion servicing and repair works across various contracts;
  
• Maintain lowpressure boilers highpressure boilers power boilers steam boilers and hot water heating systems;
  
• Replace defective valves filters or steam gauges;
  
• Monitor boiler systems to ensure safe and correct operation; facilitate periodic boiler cleaning;
  

Contact the relevant manager concerning potentially dangerous equipment or safety breaches;

• Attend callouts during normal working hours and in addition be part of the outofhours emergency callout rota;
  
• Punctual site attendance wellpresented wearing relevant company supplied PPE and clothing; and
  
• Complete and submit clear concise and accurate reports for works carried out and any further work required.
  

Boiler Engineer Skills and Qualifications:

Knowledge:

• Knowledge of combustion systems;
  
• Knowledge of HVAC plant i.e. A/C boilers controls heating and cooling systems ventilation;
  
• Knowledge of building services;
  
• Understanding of Legionella; and
  
• Understanding of overall Health & Safety.
  

Qualifications:

• CCN1
  
• CEN1 (E)
  
• CODNCO1
  
• OFTEC qualification
  

Personal Qualities / Skills:

• Valid driving licence;
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook;
  
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills; and
  
• Selfmotivated.
