Blockchain Integrations Engineer

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary Range:Highly competitive salary at industry & market rates + benefits

Location: UK remote ( HQ - USA)

English Level Fluent: A minimum level of C1 is required

Overview:

Take charge of the full end-to-end process of integrating innovative new blockchain technologies into our client's platform, from initial viability research to chain-specific node development, deployment, tooling, monitoring, and testing, to allow for the accelerated growth of the network. Collaborate closely with leadership, developers, users, and the community to ensure that integration projects are executed smoothly.
Work in close partnership with node operators to facilitate the integration of their nodes with new blockchain technologies.

Design and architect service layers and components that can be sustainably scaled to support the growth of the network as the number of supported blockchains increases significantly.

Actively contribute to elevating the team's engineering standards, accelerating team velocity, and improving the product's reliability and security.

Requirements:

  • Possess at least four years of professional engineering experience in a collaborative product-driven environment.
  • Demonstrate successful experience in designing, building, and scaling a production service.
  • Demonstrate experience in owning and delivering multi-month-long projects and the ability to communicate progress, dependencies, and risk mitigation directly to stakeholders and partners.
  • Possess a strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and system design.
  • Demonstrate the ability to be resourceful and creative when addressing ambiguous technical challenges.

    DesiredQualifications:
  • Possess experience in Golang, Rust, TypeScript, Solidity, Postgres, Terraform, and AWS.
  • Have experience with blockchain and other Web 3.0 technologies, either as a web3 developer or a backend service developer.
  • Demonstrate experience in building distributed systems.
  • Have experience contributing towards the open source community.
  • Experience working in teams that are distributed across multiple time zones.
