Role overview
We are looking for a back-end developer to join our growing digital services team and to help the agency take the next steps in its digital Reporting to our VP Data and Tech, you will work remotely but within the
As a Back-end Developer at Publitek, your core responsibilities will include:
- Continuous development of our in-house reporting platform
- Building and testing code using pipelines and writing infrastructure as code
- Setting up, executing and reporting on load tests
- Building new API connectors and extend our own API
- Documenting processors, connectors, data sources
- Working with the rest of the Data & Tech team to develop new reporting apps
You ll bring:
- Experience in web application development
- At least 2 years relevant experience as a Python developer
- DevOps related knowledge, including GIT, AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Jenkins and working with 3rd party APIs would be beneficial
- Understanding of how to build and test code using CI/CD pipelines
- Experience testing in cloud environments (specifically AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Understanding of Agile Scrum methodology and practices
- Ability to produce quality documentation
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
