Assistant General Manager - Fantastic Leisure Brand

Salary: Circa 32k Basic

Location: Brentford - West London

I am recruiting for a fantastic leisure job in London for a leading leisure management operator in the Health & Fitness sector. This is an incredibly exciting business that is growing. I am looking for a Assistant General Manager for their site based in West London - Brentford. This is a leisure job not to be missed. This is an amazing opportunity to support this brand new and unique facility.

We're looking for a Assistant General Manager who will lead from the front and by example, who relish the chance to meet and exceed both individual and team target. You will be a key member of the management team with excellent opportunities for progression and development on offer. Prior operational experience in the health & fitness would be beneficial. This role will suit someone in a assistant manager or operations manager position looking to progress their career to the next step.

What is my role?

Ensure that outstanding levels of customer service are always delivered. Working in collaboration with all departments to create an environment that is friendly, welcoming and supportive of a customer's choice on how, when and where they are active. Develop and motivate your high-performing team to deliver on KPI's regarding customers service, membership sales/retention and all dry and wet operations in club.

This is a Leisure site that requires an individual who is passionate about fitness, service and product and is incredibly hands on and prepared to lead from the front. You must have a real passion for the industry and enjoy motivating members and creating a world class fitness experience.

What do we need from you?

• Ideally NPLQ and PPO Qualified

• You are known for your friendly, calm and approachable nature with the ability to act quickly and effectively
• You love working in a team, and have the drive to inspire and motivate others to work towards and achieve targets
• You are confident in your leadership skills, and have experience managing a varied team in a fast-paced environment
• You are effective in your management, and know the ins and outs of recruitment, payroll, and training and development
• You have excellent attention to detail
