JWR Employment Specialist are delighted to be working with a large reputable Irish owned construction company to recruit a Civil/Site Engineer for a large Waste Energy Plant project located near Liverpool, UK.

Duties and Responsibilities include;
- Management and delivery of key projects including managing staff and sub-contractors.
- Regular reporting and liaison to the Project Managers
- Attend internal weekly project meetings to report on the progress of the projects.
- Brief CAD and design staff on the project requirements and ensure that the drafted designs are fit for purpose.
- Facilitate co-ordination meetings and resolve design issues between the relevant design team members.
- Write concise project communication and design reports.
- Work within the project design budget/programme and advise the Management team if there is a risk of not meeting the budget targets.
- Attend site inspections, review contractors work and prepare site inspection reports.
- Assist in drafting and 3D modelling when project deadlines require.
Requirements
- Third-level Engineering degree,
- Minimum 2 years engineering experience in a construction environment,
- Experience in Concrete / Precast desired,
- Ability to work as part of a team and assist in the development of other team members,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
- Strong problem and analytical skills.
