We are delighted to collaborate with a highlyregarded secondary school in Kingston actively seeking a passionate and qualified Design & Technology Teacher to join their dedicated team. This fulltime permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and equip students with essential skills for the 21st century.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be instrumental in fostering creativity innovation and problemsolving skills in students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The role encompasses:
- Designing and delivering engaging Design & Technology lessons that meet the national curriculum standards and inspire a passion for the subject.
- Creating a stimulating learning environment that encourages experimentation critical thinking and practical application of design principles.
- Assessing student progress through a variety of methods providing constructive feedback and tailoring instruction to meet individual needs.
- Collaborating with colleagues to enhance the quality of the Design & Technology curriculum and contribute to extracurricular activities.
- Staying abreast of emerging technologies and design trends to ensure a relevant and futurefocused learning experience.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Design & Technology Engineering or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Design & Technology at the secondary level.
- A strong understanding of design principles materials and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in using a variety of design software and technologies.
