The Client
Our client is a leading specialist flooring contractor with an extensive portfolio of work nationally. They are a specialist flooring and hygienic wall cladding company who provide bespoke solutions for the flooring and wall cladding markets on a national level.
They work mainly with commercial and industrial fit outs Specialising in a wide range of markets including care homes, office blocks, schools, universities, high street chains etc
They are looking to employ a highly skilled Estimator to work on commercial projects across the whole of the UK.
The Role
You will be working from the Huddersfield Office, daily but on occasions you may have to travel to client site at and work away (all expenses paid for)
The main purpose of this role is to complete and maintain administration activities, follow up Tenders to secure contracts and to support Commercial Director in the day-to-day roles. The successful candidate will report to the Commercial Director.
The Responsibilities
- Preparing Estimates for settling prior to submission to client
- Follow up Tenders to secure contracts
- Monitor & Control submitted tenders to successful conclusion & reporting accordingly
- Develop client relationships
- Develop supply chain relations
- Develop systems as necessary to monitor and control activities
- Limited visit to sites as required (i.e., site measures/estimating)
- Engaging with client you must be confident on the phone
