As a Senior HCA you will be provided with suitable training and support in order to fulfil your role and you will receive a mentor system via one of your colleagues. Ultimately success in the role is knowing that your residents are well cared for and within a safe environment as well as your own professional development.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Job
Supervise a team of care assistants
Design and implement care plans
Monitor patients vital signs eg. blood pressure and heart rate.
Complete patient medication records.
Train and mentor new staff.
Liaise with service managers.
Promote the independence of our residents at all times to improve their quality of life.
