We are looking for a skilled and proactive Associate to join our thriving residential conveyancing team in Maidstone. This position involves managing a comprehensive and diverse caseload of residential and occasionally commercial conveyancing matters. Key responsibilities include:
- Handling freehold and leasehold sales/purchases
- Managing transfers of equity
- Overseeing remortgages
- Handling stamp duty procedures
- Conducting title checks
- Preparing search reports and managing enquiries
- Regulating landlord and tenant relationships including lease renewals
- Drafting deeds of surrender and managing refinancing
- Overseeing acquisitions and sales of businesses
- Drafting and negotiating utilities agreements
- Engaging actively in business development
- Managing cases from inception to completion
Candidate Requirements: Ideal candidates will be highly organized disciplined and comfortable working in a fastpaced highvolume environment.
The ability to manage an independent caseload with minimal supervision is essential. Experience in residential and commercial conveyancing as well as a strong understanding of the processes involved is required.
Candidates should be proactive able to prioritize tasks effectively and possess excellent client interaction skills. Professional appearance and technical competence are preferred though not mandatory. Secretarial support is provided.
