- Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to students with speech and language needs ensuring they have the opportunity to fully engage in classroom activities.
- Assist speech and language therapists during sessions adapting strategies to reinforce progress in the classroom setting.
- Track and monitor student progress providing regular feedback to teachers therapists and the SENCO to refine individualized support plans.
- Help foster students confidence and social skills through positive interactions encouraging communication in both academic and social settings.
Qualifications:
- Experience in speech and language support either in an educational or clinical setting is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills patience and a compassionate approach to student support.
- Uptodate DBS check (required).
