Our wellregarded secondary school seeks a qualified and passionate Geography Teacher to join our dynamic Geography department on a temporarytopermanent basis from January 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire a love of geography and equip students with valuable knowledge and skills at the Key Stage 5 level.

About the Role:

As a KS5 Geography Teacher you will:

• Deliver engaging and stimulating Geography lessons for ALevel students.
• Foster a love of geography in students encouraging exploration of the world around them and developing their critical thinking skills.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students reach their full potential.
• Contribute to curriculum development ensuring it aligns with the schools vision national requirements and the latest advancements in geographical pedagogy.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Geography department and across the school to ensure a cohesive and engaging program.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Geography teacher with a proven track record of success in engaging students and developing their geographical understanding at the KS5 level.
• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring a love of geography in students of all abilities.
• Strong pedagogical skills and the ability to deliver innovative and effective lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
• A commitment to high standards and the ability to create a positive stimulating and supportive learning environment.
• Excellent communication interpersonal and collaboration skills.
