Trainee/Technician - Water Logging

The Role
This is a temp to perm role working Monday to Friday 40 hours per week and you will be carrying out the following duties:
- You will be working outside covering a large area placing noise logging equipment in manholes etc. to try to detect any leaks (full training will be provided).
- Record data using detection equipment
- Downloading the data to pinpoint areas of interest.
- Liaising with internal departments and external providers
- Keeping records up to date
- You will be working in all weather conditions and lifting heavy manhole covers
- Follow health and safety procedures and monitoring the safety of your team members
Requirements
- Able to follow instructions
- Willing and able to work in all weather conditions
- Physically able to undertake all duties required (lifting/carrying etc.)
- EUSR hygiene certificate, Streetworks and Confined Spaces qualifications are an advantage but not essential.
- An understanding of Water Supply and Leakage would be an advantage, but training will be given
- Commitment to working safely with good health and safety awareness
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload
- Basic written, verbal, numerical and IT/systems literate
- Full UK driving licence
