Job Title: Learning Designer

Job Type: Contract

Job Location ; UK Remote

Job Description:

• To lead the learning & assessment design and development of two products (each approx. 10 hours of asynchronous learning activity)
• Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify skill gaps
• Design and build high-quality, self-study courses to help meet those gaps
• Design and build robust assessments at both Foundation (recall) and Practitioner (application) levels
• Collaborate with UX specialists, testers, LMS admins and editorial staff to provide a quality end-user experience
• At least 5 years experience designing self-study online learning materials and associated assessments
• Able to write clearly and concisely for an audience where English is not the first language
• Able to work with scientific specialists and communicate for a non-scientific audience
• Able to specify requirements for video and graphic design specialists
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ? able to work with team members and stakeholders
• Able to work independently, and collaboratively
• Able to see products from the user?s perspective
• Experience within the Not For Profit sector
• Experience within Further or Higher Education
• Experience in designing within Moodle
• Working proficiency in at least one of these languages: Bangla, Urdu, Hindi, Arabic, Spanish, French
• Certified Member of the Association of Learning Technologists
